As far as I can remember, I always loved drawing. Being taken by the things of life, unfortunately, some moments were less creative then others. After studying a year and half at Cegep Sainte-Foy, I gave up in 1987 the graphic arts program because it seemed too restrictive for me.

I started painting in the middle of the 80's. I tried several mediums but, at this time, my favourite was China ink. Afterwards, I changed for acrylic ink. I now add pastel regularly to my work. I like the softness and the foggy effects it brings to the bright colours of my acrylics. I often paint wide spaces and the pastel stave in my pictures.
