With this small section of the site, I just wanted to show you that someday, I decided to prove to myself that I could do realism. So, the eccentricity of my works was a choice and not a style I was stuck with. I was also sure at that time that I was painting accurately my Fantastic World.
Unfortunately, I did not get any thrill while doing that realistic try because even a perfectly painted fruit will remain just a fruit. I did not want to finish the second drawing shown here and I do not even know why I kept it since I do not really have interest in it. My talent as a painter was not worth if I did not find an interesting subject to paint. I just realised at that moment that if what I paint was existing, I would be a photographer!…Did I say it yet?
